Evergreen products are defined in Revenue Cloud using the Product Selling Model of Evergreen. A pricing term unit of
- Months
- Quarterly
- Semi-Annual
- Years
can be selected which indicates the term over which the product price applies.
An Evergreen product Quote Line will identify this pricing term unit and billing frequency
The associated Order Product generated from the Quote Line Item will have:
- Start Date when the product service begins
- End Date is blank
When an Asset is generated from the Order it will contain:
- Lifecycle Start Date when the product service begins
- Lifecycle End Date is blank
- Renewal Term Unit is the Pricing Term Unit as defined above
- Renewal Term is the Pricing Term as defined above
- Current Monthly Recurring Revenue shows the monthly price based on the Pricing Term Unit
- Total Lifecycle Amount shows the amount for a single price term
The Billing system is required to continue billing based on above information until the asset is cancelled.
